CLOSED FOR JANUARY 2022
We are currently closed for January 2022 while maintenance takes place. We will reopen for fishing Wednesday 2nd February 2022. From this time, we will be operating on Winter Opening Hours until British Summertime begins in the Spring.
WINTER OPENING HOURS
From Wednesday 2nd February 2022, Willow Marsh Fishery will be open Wednesday-Sunday with first admission at 8am and gates closing at 16:00pm as per our Winter Opening Hours. Our cafe, The Willow & Boar is also closed for January 2022. It will open again Wednesday 2nd February 2022 and be operational between 8:30 am and 15:30pm, with hot food service ceasing one hour prior to closing (14:30pm). For the Winter only, please come into the Cafe to purchase your day ticket, venue pellets and corn if you require. A member of staff can open the tackle shop for you upon request, please remain patient with us. Please continue to check the pool availability on the website before your visit, particularly on weekends. At this time, no vehicle is permitted to drive round the pools, to the peg due to the conditions of the ground in the Winter period. There are two car parks, one near Dragonfly and the cafe and one further down the track nearer Whispers and Sandpipers. Trolleys will be required.
Willow Marsh Fishery
Set in the beautiful Worcestershire Countryside, Willowmarsh is one of the prettiest fisheries in the Midlands. We work very hard to keep the fishery and fish in tip top condition so we would ask all visitors to respect that, adhere to the rules and enjoy the fishing and surroundings.
We have three lakes on the complex for matches and pleasure fisherman alike all surrounded by mature trees, water iris and especially willows, hence the name. The view from any of the pools is absolutely stunning, and is always commented upon by anglers! All three of the lakes have pegs constructed of wood and slabs which are in the process of being refurbished, our middle pool ‘Whispers’ has just had a full peg makeover!
A real bonus of fishing on our complex is that weather permitting, you can drive and park behind your chosen peg. Just be aware that in wet conditions this isn’t permitted to protect the beautiful natural environment you are fishing in. If the weather has been wet recently and you are unsure if you’ll require your trolley, please feel free to give the fishery a call and we will be happy to advise you further.
Alongside the beautiful lakes and fishing at Willow Marsh, we also have our own Tackle Shop in addition to a cafe called The Willow and Boar. Here, we serve hot breakfast food (all day), light lunch, cakes, soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks. We even have an alcohol license and serve a variety of bottled beer, wine, cider and Prosecco. The cafe is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed on a Monday except for Bank Holidays), just like the fishery, and is open from 7:30am until 16:00. Hot food is served until 15:00, with cold sandwiches available all day. Match bookings for breakfasts are also welcomed! See the website www.thewillowandboar.co.uk or pop over to Facebook and search for ‘The Willow and Boar’ for more information.
